The Fuze team has been in communication with Illbruck since the end of January regarding a possible donation of building materials.
This morning we officially approved a donation of 10 pallets of insulation foam to be delivered directly to camp. Each pallet has 800 cans of foam, which totals to an outstanding 80,000 cans of insulation foam! These will be vital in the building of the new camp as it will ensure shelters are watertight and insulated, keeping residents warmer, drier and healthier.
Fuze has agreed to direct the donation to Rob Crook's build team, who have already done amazing work on both Calais and Dunkirk camps, and are currently undergoing build projects in the new Dunkirk camp.
Though we are not construction savvy here at Fuze, we are appreciative of all the different skills the various groups of volunteers on the ground share. We look forward to continue sourcing donations of building materials for the build team.
